You can get a neopreen seal for the 312 now from Best, but it is more than likely a 292 since trucks did not come with 312s. I use between 100-150 non teflon fel pro rear main seals every year with very minimal issues, the single biggest leak culprit for me is not the rear main seal, its typically the lip on the oil pan, which is easily mistaken all the time for the rear main seal leaking.
